Privacy Policy
Last updated April 25, 2026
SoldRun (“we,” “our”) helps event coordinators plan delivery and outreach runs. This policy covers what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
Coordinator accounts: name, email address, hashed password, and the operational data you create — events, addresses, signups, and saved address lists.
Volunteer / donor signups: when someone fills out a public signup link you share, we collect the fields shown on that form (typically name, address, phone, email, and event-specific questions). This data is owned by the coordinator running the event.
Operational metadata: IP address and browser user agent on form submissions for spam protection, plus standard server logs.
How we use it
- To run the SoldRun coordinator portal and your events.
- To deliver transactional email (sign-up confirmations, password resets, deletion notices).
- To validate addresses via the U.S. Census Geocoder. Address text is sent to
geocoding.geo.census.gov; no other personal data is shared. - For optional “paste any text” address parsing, the text you paste is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Don't paste anything you wouldn't want processed by a third-party LLM.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share data with the processors we use to run the service: Neon (database), Resend (email), Anthropic (address parsing for the paste flow), and Cloudflare (captcha, delivery network). Coordinators see signups submitted to events they own.
Retention & deletion
Events you delete enter Trash for 30 days, then are permanently removed along with their addresses and signups. You can request full account deletion from Settings; we mark your account for purge and permanently remove all data after a 30-day grace period.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time from your coordinator account. For requests we can't fulfill in-product, email privacy@soldrun.app.
Children
SoldRun is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
